Training

Training for professionals working with Children & Young People in BwD is provided by multiple sources, including the following:

• MeLearning
  • Offers a wide range of training opportunities, including Level 1 and 2 Safeguarding via the Local Authority’s dedicated platform.
• Wish Centre
  • Provide training to the partnership in relation to Domestic Abuse and Violence
• Engage Team
  • Deliver bespoke training around Contextual Safeguarding issues
• Early Break
  • Offer training around substance misuse
• NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria ICB
  • Provide bespoke sessions on Domestic Abuse (Tom’s Story), Non-Fatal Strangulation and other specific safeguarding topics
